Student Transportation
Daegu Student Transportation Office
The Daegu Student Transportation Office (STO) is here to serve the community with safe and reliable student transportation services. Some of our duties include coordinating transportation for daily commuting, extracurricular events (sporting events...etc), curricular events (required field trips), after school activity buses, the cooperative work experience program, and special needs students. We provide safety training to preschool through grade 12 students. The Daegu STO conducts safety/operation inspections on all buses, bus routes, bus stops, and established walking zones. We also work closely with school administrators and the military commands to establish commuting/walking zones, and investigate/resolve all student conduct concerns on our vehicles.

Student Transportation Announcements
Parents are reminded that:
a) To register for transportation you will need to bring the copy of the DoDEA Form 600 given to you by the school registrar, your current address and its location, and your student(s) to have pictures taken.
b) For safety and security reasons students are required to show a bus pass when entering the bus to/from school, and are only authorized to ride their assigned bus route.
c) Please consult the student transportation office representative for details on your walking/commuting zones prior to entering into a rental agreement. Normally, the walking distance should not exceed 1 mile for students in kindergarten through grade 6 and 1.5 miles for student’s grades 7 through 12.
Transportation registration for next school year is held each spring. Contact the student transportation office for dates and registration location nearest you.
